Thermal Hire Ltd have been providing heat treatment services to the power generation, petrochemical and offshore industries since 1974.
Thermal Hire Ltd specialise in the provision of on-site heat treatment services utilising the most up to date digital electrical resistance, induction and high-velocity gas equipment. Applications include refractory dry-out, weld preheat, PWHT, Stress relief, coatings curing, annealing, normalising and solution treatment.
The company's Hartlepool works has 23 heat treatment furnaces including water and polymer quench facilities up to 20T 12.4m x 3.2m x 2m and ranging up to 15.5m x 4.6m x 3m for air-cool and controlled cooling treatments. Shot blasting is also available at our Hartlepool works in a 16m x 3m self-contained unit.
Thermal Hire hold a wide range of heat treatment equipment available to hire for those clients who wish to conduct their own heat treatment activities.
The company also manufactures heat treatment equipment for sale and also offers spares, consumables and calibration/service/repair provisions.
A recent acquisition and construction of a new workshop at the Wigan Facility now now gives Thermal Hire the capability for the Design & Manufacture of Refractory Anchors.
