THREE60 ENERGY has secured a new multi-discipline engineering and design services contract with CF Fertilisers UK Ltd

THREE60 has been awarded a new multi-discipline engineering and design services contract with CF Fertilisers UK Ltd (CF), the UK subsidiary of global nitrogen manufacturer CF Industries. The award represents THREE60’s ongoing commitment to both onshore and industrial diversification.

Under the new agreement, THREE60 will provide professional services across its full range of multi-discipline engineering and design capabilities, drawing on THREE60’s engineering expertise to deliver enhanced operational efficiencies.

CF Fertilisers UK manufactures high-grade fertiliser products for the global market, playing a critical role in UK food security and agricultural supply chains. The new contract will see THREE60 support CF’s facilities at Billingham and North Tees, two of the region’s most significant industrial multi sector process sites.

The award reflects the continued growth of THREE60’s multi-discipline engineering capability across the onshore industrial process sector and reinforces our growing footprint in the North East of England through the newly established regional hub office in Billingham.

Alasdair Smith, Managing Director of THREE60’s Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning service line, commented:

“This contract with CF Fertilisers is an important step in the delivery of our diversification strategy, bringing our engineering expertise into a new sector while strengthening our footprint in the North East of England. It’s a great vote of confidence in the capability we’ve built in Billingham and in technologies we have developed to deliver real efficiency gains for our customers. We’re looking forward to growing this partnership with CF through 2026 and into their 2027 improvement programme.”

The contract will help support the continued growth of THREE60’s regional presence in Billingham, contributing to the build-out of local engineering capability and creating further employment opportunities in the area as the office scales to meet CF’s ongoing requirements in 2026 and beyond.
