We would be delighted to welcome you to participate in an upcoming circular economy workshop at Newcastle University, titled "Mapping Critical Minerals in Low-Carbon Technologies for End-of-Life Recovery", taking place on 14th July, 9:00 am - 12:15 pm.
Recovering critical minerals from waste streams is increasingly recognised as an opportunity for strengthening national resilience. In collaboration with Tohoku University (Japan), our project uses innovative geospatial approaches to understand the location and quantity of critical minerals that are embedded in low-carbon technologies within the North East. This will support future circular economy strategies by identifying regions with high potential for recycling and material recovery.
This workshop will be discussion-based, providing an opportunity to share insights and discuss challenges and opportunities. We are keen to ensure that the perspectives of your sector are represented. The attached flyer provides the full agenda.
