Asset55 Secures New Contract Award from MODEC for Gato Do Mato FPSO Project

Asset55 is delighted to announce a new contract awarded by MODEC for the deployment of Asset55’s Validate & Execute software on the Gato Do Mato Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) project. The Gato Do Mato FPSO, anticipated to come online in 2029, will be deployed at the Orca field offshore Brazil and is expected to produce up to 120,000 barrels of oil per day.
Asset55’s Validate software will be deployed on Gato Do Mato to ensure robust data integrity throughout the entire project lifecycle. By creating and maintaining a trusted and consistent data foundation, Validate will support efficient workflows and enable accurate, reliable decision-making throughout the project.
In line with this, Asset55’s Execute software will provide powerful multi-discipline, multi-phase visualisation and analytics tools, giving project teams enhanced visibility across fabrication, integration, and commissioning phases.
A key focus of Execute’s deployment will be integration planning, supporting MODEC’s “30-day integration” philosophy, through the creation of detailed installation work packs aligned with commissioning priorities.
This latest contract award marks the 20th major capital project supported by Asset55’s software solutions. Asset55 continues the ongoing deployment and support across a portfolio of high-profile projects with leading operators such as ExxonMobil, Shell, and Equinor.
