Tees Valley Combined Authority
Company Profile
Tees Valley Combined Authority is a partnership with five local authorities, Darlington, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland and Stockton-on-Tees. Working closely with the Business Board, wider business community and other partners, we make decisions to support the growth of our economy, creating jobs and transforming the region.
The region has huge ambitions, to create the world's first Net Zero industrial cluster by 2040. At the centre of the industrial zone is Teesworks, the heart of the UK's largest Freeport, the Teesside Freeport, unrivalled in size, scale and opportunity and home to some of the UK's biggest game-changing projects, such as bp and Equinor's Net Zero Teesside Power CCUS project, and SeAH Wind's monopile manufacturing facility.
A new quay as also been developed at Teesworks that will support the growth of the Offshore sector in the region.
