Step Change in Safety

Step Change in Safety was formed in 1997 by industry, for industry.

We are a member-led, not-for-profit, tripartite organisation which works to 'Prevent Incident and Injury across the Energy Industry'. This mission is driven by bringing together energy providers, supply chain companies, workforce representatives, trade associations, unions and regulator.

Our membership is open to all companies from the largest producers and developers, to contractors, consultancies and the smallest start-ups.

Through active leadership, member collaboration and workforce engagement, Step Change in Safety has evolved and adapted to ever-changing industry needs and challenges. Workforce safety and wellbeing will always come first; it is the bedrock of our organisation and what shapes our goals.
