Founded in 2020, CeraPhi Energy is a pioneering geothermal technology and development company delivering sustainable solutions for heating. Drawing on decades of experience within the oil and gas sector, our team harnesses the natural heat beneath our feet to provide reliable, low-carbon heat for public, commercial and industrial applications.

Our deep, closed-loop systems circulate a working fluid through a well to capture heat from the surrounding geology before bringing it to the surface for distribution or conversion. The fluid remains completely contained and is continuously recirculated, creating a sustainable, zero-emission energy source with a low embedded carbon footprint.

CeraPhi specialises in but is not limited to repurposing existing oil and gas wells for geothermal energy production. We were the first company globally to install a deep, closed-loop monobore system in a redundant gas well at commercial scale. Through our in-house drilling capability, we can also design and deliver new boreholes tailored to individual project requirements.

From initial feasibility and economic studies through to design, financing support and installation, we provide an end-to-end geothermal solution. CeraPhi is helping organisations worldwide unlock the potential of geothermal energy.
