Company Profile
Celtic Sea Power Ltd is tasked with regional strategic development of the Celtic Sea for Floating Offshore Wind (FLOW). An autonomous subsidiary of Cornwall Council, Celtic Sea Power Ltd is headquartered in Hayle, Cornwall with an office in Pembroke Dock, Wales.
The mission to strategically develop FLOW for the Celtic Sea region will help accelerate the transition to a new green economy and ensure benefits are realised within Cornwall, South Wales and south-west England.
In order to achieve this, Celtic Sea Power is delivering major projects:
+ Cornwall FLOW Accelerator (funded by ERDF)
+ Pembrokeshire Demonstration Zone (funded by WEFO and SBCD)
+ PermaGov
Through these projects CSP is actively working to meet the target of 4GW of FLOW by 2035 as set out by The Crown Estate and build a sustainable regional industry. CSP is doing so by directly addressing the challenges of:
- Ports and Infrastructure
- Grid
- Zonal Planning
- Skills and Workforce
