Welcome to the Correll team – Andrew Simpson

The Correll Group have the pleasure in welcoming Andrew Simpson who has joined the team as Control Engineer for the HV Management Division.

Andrews joins the team from Natural Power where he worked in various roles over the last decade from Area Manager Southern England to 400kV Offshore Transmission Senior Authorised Person bringing three offshore wind farms from construction to operation and ongoing maintenance at other technologies sites from Battery Energy Storage systems to National Grid connected reactors.

Before Joining Natural Power Andrew had a long and distinguished career of 20 Years in the Royal Navy with his final appointment as the Head of the Generation Section on HMS Ark Royal, and he is looking forward to becoming an active part in the Armed Forces Covenant at Correll.

At Correll, Andrew’s responsibilities are predominantly for the implementation of the HV Safety Rules and Control Engineer duties across the UK, Europe, Asia and most recently in the USA.

Andrew had this to say; “I am looking forward to being part of a expanding team with a company that is demonstrating its commitment to the renewable energy sector.
