UK & Brazil: Partners in Energy - Market Visit Opportunity / BT Trade Mission

The DBT (former DIT) Brazil Energy Team is organising the Trade Mission to Brazil to coincide with the 10th edition of the conference UK & Brazil Partners in Energy. This year, the conference will be held at the Museum of Tomorrow, in Rio, on the 19th June).
The team is offering a 3-day programme of meetings and networking activities with key stakeholders of the Energy and Mining sectors. Companies to be visited are likely to be Shell, Equinor, BP, Neoenergia (Iberdrolla), Porto do Açú, Vale, Anglo American and Eletrobras, amongst others (please note that some companies may change, depending on their availability)
We are inviting UK companies active in the Renewables and Mining sectors, to join us on this activity and benefit from:
- Being part of a selected group of companies supported by the UK Government during this activity;
- Attending group meetings organised with key players of the energy sector in Brazil involved with projects in Renewables and Mining
- The opportunity to introduce your company capability to the these companies and develop relevant contacts;
- Being a special guest at the UK & Brazil Partners in Energy Conference with reference your company being made at the opening/plenary session by a Senior British authority;
- The opportunity to showcase your company´s activities and brand through relevant marketing material at a personalised pod, at the networking and catering areas or the UK & Brazil conference venue, during the event;
- Access to the business lounge, where you can have meetings with potential or existing customers;
- Benefit from the visibility generated by the event on HMG´s social and professional media channels before, during and after the week of the activity;
- Attending enhanced networking opportunities such as the Networking Reception at the Consul-General´s residence, with selected guests from the industry.
The UK & Brazil Partners in Energy is an annual conference that aims to promote and strengthen the partnership between UK and Brazil in the energy sector, through knowledge sharing, best practice and commercial exchange. It is a platform for UK and Brazilian companies as well as government agencies to discuss the future of the energy sector, its challenges and opportunities, and to gain a deeper insight into regulatory frameworks, new technologies and solutions in areas of common interest.
In its 10th edition, the conference will cover the following topics: Hydrogen, Electrical Networks, Mining, Energy Transition and Offshore Wind.
UK companies active on these sectors are invited to join the trade mission and participate on the event. This year's edition aspires to raise the UK’s profile as the global leader in clean growth, technology and innovation - powering the journey to net zero.

**There will be simultaneous Translation available.
The following two days of the Trade Mission programme (20th and 21st June) will be of meetings with industry players and key stakeholders.

Deadline for Registration – 12th May 2023 – Limited places available.
Costs Not-Included:
- Flight;
- Accommodation;
- Meals (apart from the 19th June as meals will be served as part of the conference);
- All ground transportation apart from the 2 days of Business Meetings;
- Any promotional/marketing material to be showcased at your branded pod or at the Business Lounge.
The 2022 edition counted with over 323 attendees, being 38% in the position of Manager, Director or Coordinator, and 5% President and Vice President. Feedback received include:
