Tekmar Secures €8m Cable Protection Contract on Major UK Offshore Wind Project

Tekmar has been awarded a significant contract, valued in excess of €8 million, by an existing Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) customer for a major UK offshore wind farm. The award reinforces Tekmar’s long-standing relationship with the customer and further demonstrates the Company’s position as a trusted provider of subsea asset protection technologies.
Under the scope of work, Tekmar will engineer and supply its 10th Generation Cable Protection System (CPS) alongside a full suite of associated cable ancillaries. The Group will draw on its in-house engineering expertise and holistic CPS design capabilities to deliver a solution optimised for the project’s specific environmental and operational conditions. Delivery is scheduled for March 2027, with revenue recognition expected across Tekmar’s FY26 and FY27 financial periods.

This contract marks another step forward in Tekmar’s strategy to secure high-quality work while maintaining a disciplined commercial approach. Since the end of June 2025, Tekmar has secured a significant number of contract wins across its core energy markets, reflecting both growing demand and Tekmar’s ability to deliver value across a wide range of subsea protection challenges.
Momentum Building Across Offshore Wind
The c.€8 million contract announced today adds to a series of landmark offshore wind successes in 2025. In October, Tekmar announced a framework agreement with Jan De Nul, supporting TenneT’s 2GW offshore grid programme in Germany – one of Europe’s most ambitious transmission initiatives. Earlier in the year, the Group also signed a framework agreement with Nexans, strengthening a long-term partnership with one of the industry’s leading cable suppliers.
