SQS Becomes First Inspection Company in the Energy Sector to Achieve B Corp Certification

years of expertise in the global energy sector, has become the first inspection company in its field to 
achieve Certified B Corporation® (B Corp) status.

 
The announcement comes at a time when the climate crisis and social inequality are placing increasing 
pressure on businesses to act responsibly. Certified by B Lab, B Corp Certification confirms that SQS 
meets B Lab’s high standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and 
transparency — embedding purpose alongside profit.

 
The certification goes far beyond a one-time audit. It assesses every aspect of a company’s operations, 
from governance and employee practices to community impact, environmental performance, and 
customer responsibility. The process is rigorous, requiring businesses to provide robust evidence of their 
impact and to legally commit to balancing purpose and profit in their company articles.
