Our SHFCA2023 conference theme Hydrogen Scotland – Realising the Potential explores the scale up of low carbon hydrogen production together with building up local demand and the opportunity for export of hydrogen into wider markets.
Aberdeen is now moving from demonstration projects to larger scale and wider deployment, supported by local initiatives including the Energy Transition Zone adjacent to the new South Harbour and the strategic Aberdeen Hydrogen Hub partnership between bp and Aberdeen City Council. SHFCA2023 Hydrogen Scotland will highlight the critical importance of establishing local supply chains and skills with hydrogen as a key part of this clean energy transition.
