Network-H2 is the EPSRC funded network to maximise the impact of UK-funded research and innovation. The Network organises conferences, seminars, workshops and funding calls in order to advance the knowledge and understanding of hydrogen fuelled transportation.
This webinar is the fifth in our series of seminars featuring speakers from industry and academia exploring the challenges and advances in Hydrogen fuelled transportation this seminar will feature speakers on hydrogen uses within Aviation.

Speakers are:
Julian Renz of ZeroAvia will present on "Three ways of making sure hydrogen is no longer "always in the future"
Julian is the Head of Programmes at ZeroAvia, leading the work on the Cranfield-based HyFlyer I and II programmes, which aims to demonstrate 300m, zero-emission flights. https://www.zeroavia.com/
Dr Cristina Garcia-Duffy, Head of Technology Strategy & Integration, Aerospace Technology Institute
Cristina's presentation will cover “The five Ws and How of H2 in Aviation”
Dr Cristina Garcia Duffy is Head of Technology at the Aerospace Technology Institute with responsibility for the development and delivery of the Institute’s sustainability vision for the aerospace sector. Since 2014 she has also led in developing the technology aspects for the ATI strategies and for the shaping and launching of projects to deliver against the strategy. Prior to the ATI, Cristina held various management positions within the R&T department at Leonardo Helicopters. Cristina holds a PhD, MSc and BSc in Aerospace Engineering.
