KAEFER UK & Ireland, a leading provider of technical industrial services, has relocated its Head Office to the Live Works development on Newcastle’s Quayside, marking a significant investment in its future growth and continued commitment to the North East.

Previously based at its Jarrow Fabrication Facility, the relocation has seen KAEFER transition its central support functions to a modern, city-centre workspace designed to support collaboration, innovation, and team wellbeing. Situated within the landmark Live Works development, the new office places KAEFER at the heart of Newcastle’s vibrant Quayside community – a location recognised for its connectivity, culture, and expanding business ecosystem.

KAEFER has operated in the North East for more than 50 years, delivering major projects across the energy, industrial, nuclear, and defence sectors. The move reflects the company’s long-term strategy to strengthen its regional presence, attract new talent, and provide its teams with a high-quality workspace that enables future growth.

Chris Foulkes, CEO of KAEFER UK & Ireland said: “Relocating our Head Office to Newcastle marks an exciting milestone for KAEFER UK & Ireland. As our business continues to evolve, it has been important to create an environment that supports how we work today, and how we will work in the future. Newcastle’s Quayside provides the right setting for collaboration, innovation and long-term success. Our roots in the North East remain incredibly important to us, and this investment demonstrates our continued commitment to the region and its people.”

The Live Works office offers contemporary meeting spaces, digital collaboration tools, breakout areas, and flexible working zones – all designed to bring teams together and support a more connected way of working. Its central location provides improved access to public transport, local amenities, and the city’s growing talent pool.

As part of its expanding presence in the city, KAEFER has also established a new partnership with The Glasshouse International Centre for Music as a Platinum Business Champion.

KAEFER will continue to operate its Jarrow Fabrication Facility, which remains a core delivery hub within the business.
