K2 Construction Management supported by Westray Recruitment on landmark Teesside project

K2 Construction Management have been supported on their journey by specialist recruiter Westray Recruitment Group.

K2 Construction Management are developing SeAH Wind’s £450m monopile factory at Teesworks on Teesside  and required a range of temporary and permanent placements including specialist skilled roles.

In support of the project North east based Westray made sure that K2 had the exact personnel at the right time, delivering more than a dozen local permanent placements and a number of temporary workers, including difficult and non-standard positions, meeting tight project timescales.

From this partnership K2 Construction Management  also chose to Greenify their placements, supporting both K2’s and K2 client’s ESG agenda, making their permanent placements carbon neutral.

A growing number of companies are embracing ESG and using eco-positive propositions to enhance their brand. Westray Recruitment Group’s Greenify programme allows clients to support their ESG values with their recruitment, making their hiring sustainable.

Since launch, the Westray Net Zero hire programme “Greenify” has offset 1016 tonnes of CO2, recovered and repurposed 2584 kg of ocean bound plastic and planted 608 trees.
