Irish Port Infrastructure Webinar 25th May
Posted on 12 May 2023

The British Embassy Dublin is hosting a webinar in partnership with the major Irish Ports to highlight the
opportunities in port infrastructure, featuring presentations from Dublin Port, Port of Cork,
Shannon Foynes Port Rosslare Europort and Port of Waterford.
About the event
Port traffic accounts for over 90% of imports and exports to Ireland. Improvements at ports are
essential to facilitating future increases in trade and national capacity requirements for larger sized
vessels and increased tonnage.
Improving efficiencies at ports to make room for the offshore wind sector is also an area of interest.
Ireland’s Climate Action plan showcases the need and potential for the sector, and each port has the
potential to contribute to the development of offshore facilities in Ireland.
If your company is involved in areas such as maritime decarbonisation, port digitisation, maritime civil
engineering and the offshore wind sector, this is the perfect opportunity to learn more about
opportunities to export to Ireland and how to get involved.
