Hydrasun invests in new Port of Blyth facility

Energy services company Hydrasun has opened a new North East office at the Port of Blyth.
The move follows a previous investment which expanded the capabilities of its Teesside office, resulting in the company securing a wider range of contracts.
Hydrasun, which is headquartered in Aberdeen, is a recognised market leader in integrated fluid transfer, power and control solutions in the oil and gas, renewable energy, marine, defence and other industrial sectors.
The new Wimbourne Quay office is situated within a cluster of other successful offshore and renewable energy support businesses including Pharos Offshore Group, Global Marine Group, Clarksons and TSG Marine.
The decision to open the new office is based on the growth of the Teesside office and builds on a number of successful projects with renowned subsea contractors and construction yards. Hydrasun has also been selected as preferred hydraulic services contractor for Texo Group, which is also based at Port of Blyth.
Selected due to its strategic location, the facility is an attractive prospect due to its growing international reputation for its expertise in the offshore energy and oil and gas sectors.
The new office will support the work carried out by Hydrasun’s Teesside office, which is home to a team of engineers and technicians experienced in subsea, topside equipment and drilling rigs as well as renewable energy systems with particular emphasis on Hydrogen Fuel Cell Systems.
