Eastgate Engineering Announces Strengthened Board of Directors
Posted on 16 September 2025

Eastgate Engineering recently announced the appointment of a new board of directors. An appointment that is vital as the company enters its next phase of growth and innovation.
Eastgate Engineering was founded in 2007 and has since grown to almost 300 employees across the UK and Ireland. The company delivers major projects across key sectors such as offshore wind, power, chemicals and renewables. Each newly appointed Director brings not just impressive backgrounds but a unique personal drive to innovate, collaborate and deliver for current and future clients.
David Brennan is the founder and CEO of Eastgate. Brennan is a true self-starter as he began his career as an Apprentice Electrician before he worked his way up to Project Manager and eventually, Entrepreneur. Brennan founded Eastgate with a simple vision: to create a company that values knowledge, trust and innovation. Fast forward to today, where he leads a strong team delivering complex projects throughout the UK.
In April 2025, Anthony Fiske was appointed as Commercial Director. Fiske has already established himself as a key figure as Eastgate continues to expand. With eighteen years in commercial operations and project controls, his journey began as a Technical Clerk, which is a testament to his personal belief that “it’s never too late to learn and grow”. Fiske brings deep commercial insight and a collaborative approach, ensuring Eastgate continue to exceed client expectations.
Brennan expanded the board in May 2025 with the inclusion of Paul Carvill as Managing Director. Carvill brings with him thirty years of leadership experience in Nuclear, Pharmaceutical and Oil & Gas. He began his career as a Mechanical Apprentice and has gone on to transform businesses whilst building and nurturing strong client partnerships. Carvill’s passion for challenge will help steer Eastgate toward its next stage of growth.
Finally, in June 2025, Brennan welcomed Claire Maith as Chief Financial Officer. Maith’s career saw her become Finance Director at the age of twenty-three, as well as having previous experience in managing turnovers of up to £2.2 billion. Passionate about team building and sustainable, long-term growth, Maith has begun strengthening Eastgate’s financial foundations.
“Eastgate Engineering’s new board of Directors reflects our commitment to excellence and innovation,” says David Brennan, CEO. “Our new senior leadership team allows us to combine hands-on industry expertise with a strategic vision. This collaboration will help to position Eastgate in an ever-evolving industry as we are prepared and ready to deliver long-term value for current and future clients.”
