Scaretech Joins NOF - Planting Flags in the Right Places

There's a particular kind of momentum that builds when everything starts moving at once. At Scaretech, that's exactly where we are right now.

Keys in hand for the riverside unit on the Tyne. The Academy taking shape ahead of a September launch. Devices deployed offshore. Services already contracted with some of the biggest names in global energy. For a company that's spent years quietly building something real, 2026 feels like the year it all becomes visible.

So it felt like exactly the right moment to join NOF.

For those unfamiliar, NOF is a not-for-profit business development organisation that's been connecting energy sector businesses since 1988. Oil and gas, offshore wind, nuclear, hydrogen - they sit across the whole landscape, and more importantly, they sit across ours.

Scaretech isn't a single-sector business. Our devices protect offshore infrastructure across oil, gas and renewables. Our services teams are working with operators and contractors across the North Sea. And the Academy we're building on the Tyne is being designed to train the next generation of offshore workers - the people who'll be needed in their thousands as the energy transition accelerates.

NOF connects into every part of that. The supply chain relationships, the project intelligence, the introductions to developers and tier one contractors - that's not background noise for us, that's exactly the network we need to be inside.

My job is to make sure the right people know this business exists, and that when the right doors open, we're already standing close to them. Joining NOF is part of that.

The NOF team are coming to the Tyne next month for a first look around. We're looking forward to showing them what we're building - and to getting properly stuck in.
