Film-Ocean strengthens team across key disciplines to support continued growth

NOF member, Film-Ocean has announced the appointment of three experienced professionals across health, safety and environment, training and competency, and commercial. These appointments underline the Aberdeen-based ROV services company's confidence in the market and its commitment to delivering capability across oil and gas, decommissioning, offshore wind, and the wider energy transition.
Lewis MacDonald has taken on the role of HSEQ Advisor, bringing a strong background in health, safety, and environmental management developed in the marine sector, supporting vessel and fabrication yard operations. In his new role, Lewis oversees day-to-day HSEQ activity across Film-Ocean's site operations – including inspections, audits, investigations, and systems management – ensuring safety standards remain robust and practical as the business grows.
Lewis commented: "I'm looking forward to being part of the Film-Ocean team, supporting operations, and getting stuck into the work ahead."
Dawn Banaszkiewicz joins the business as Training and Competency Lead, bringing over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Dawn is responsible for designing and managing training programmes and competency frameworks across the organisation, embedding a culture of continuous improvement that benefits both Film-Ocean and the clients it serves.
"I'm really excited to be joining Film-Ocean and becoming part of a team known for its expertise and high standards," she said. "I'm looking forward to making a positive contribution."
Andrew joins from Aratellus Offshore Group, where he developed his commercial expertise working on offshore and subsea tendering. As Proposals Coordinator, he is responsible for reviewing client RFQs, ITTs, and RFPs, coordinating technical and commercial inputs from across the business, and producing high-quality submissions that reflect the full strength of Film-Ocean's ROV capabilities.
