Dale Power Solutions Appoints Stuart MacPhail as Head of Commercial UPS Division at New St Albans Hub

Dale Power Solutions has promoted Stuart MacPhail BSc (Hons) EngTech MIET to Head of its Commercial Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) division, marking a key milestone in the company’s growth and investment in the sector.
The appointment coincides with the launch of Dale’s new, expanded facility at North Orbital Business Park in St Albans, which will serve as the company’s dedicated commercial UPS product and service hub. The site features modern meeting spaces and a purpose-built showroom, strengthening Dale’s presence in the South and enhancing its ability to support customers with specialist UPS expertise
Driving Growth Through Experience and Technical Leadership
Stuart brings over 20 years of experience in the electrical and backup power industry, having progressed from an engineering apprentice into senior leadership roles across technical support and service operations, supported by an HNC, HND, and engineering degree.
Since joining Dale Power Solutions in 2021 as UPS Service Manager, he has played a key role in strengthening service operations, initially leading a team of 30 engineers across UPS and battery maintenance. In 2023, he progressed to Service Engineering Manager, overseeing around 80 field service engineers, including generator service teams.
In his new role as Head of Commercial UPS, Stuart will lead the strategic growth and development of the division, supporting the continued expansion of Dale’s commercial UPS offering across the UK.
