Posted on 31 July 2026
Applications are now open for the latest Aberdeen International Associates (AIA) trade visit to Guyana that would be suitable for any companies interested in learning more about the market, identifying opportunities for their goods and services, and engaging with key stakeholders in-country.
The visit will run from Monday 28th September to Thursday 1st October to coincide with the British Airways service to Georgetown from London Gatwick. The programme of meetings and site visits will be designed to enable participants to engage with IOCs, leading contractors, Government representatives, leading Guyanese Business Support organisations as well as identify potential local partners.
AIA consultants have coordinated 14 trade visits to Guyana since 2017 which has provided them with an extensive network in the region and they are pleased to be partnering with former British High Commissioner to Guyana, Greg Quinn OBE to co-ordinate this latest mission.
Managing Director Neil McIntosh explained: “We are delighted to be collaborating with Greg on this exciting initiative to help fellow NOF members and the wider UK energy sector supply chain benefit from our connections and access relevant opportunities in the world’s fastest growing economy.
Identifying new export markets is becoming increasingly important to companies that have been traditionally focused on the North Sea and many will have been following the Guyana story.
This visit will provide the supply chain with insights into ongoing developments, connections with key players, and identify routes to market for their goods and services including prospective local partners.”
The registration window is open until Friday 11th September and companies are encouraged to book early as places will be limited - accommodation (three nights, including breakfast) at the Jewelz Hotel and most on-ground transportation are included within the mission package.

AIA is also leading a delegation to Mozambique in the week of 19th October, with Namibia, Nigeria, Canada, and Brazil expected to be scheduled across the next six months, further details will be published soon.
