The company represents a Norwegian based PE100 pipe manufacturer. The PE100 pipes are continuously extruded directly into a fjord in Norway and then using a tug boat, towed to the construction site in lengths up to 1400+ mtr long (no joints or welds). Pipe delivered in this way offers considerable savings in welding and installation time and cost. It can be used for many applications, such as gas and water pipelines, outfalls, intakes and outlets for power generation and desalination plants.
The long-length PE100 pipes are used for the construction of wind farm and interconnector cable conduits, where a smooth internal bore is often a requirement by the windfarm developers in order to ensure that there are no weld beads to interfere with the installation and on-going operation of the cable.
For the past ten years, we have been supplying PE pipes for use as cable conduits to various projects in the UK utilising both open cut and HDD installation methods.
