Capula welcomes apprentice class of 2022

Industrial automation and control systems integrator for digital solutions, Capula has officially welcomed its latest intake of apprentices.

Studying a range of engineering and business disciplines, with studies taking place at academic institutes in Staffordshire, this apprentice class of 2022 includes eleven new starters and four existing employees who are keen to gain a recognised qualification.

Kyle Warrillow, Kian Rushton, Bradley Philips and Ryan Burgess begin their L3 Engineering Technician in Product Design and Development at Newcastle College.

Elsewhere Lewis Redhead, William Knight and Conor O’Sullivan start their journey to a Level 6 Digital & Technology Solutions Professional at Staffordshire University.

Dylan Hawthorne, Thomas Attwell, Luke Williams, Louis Hodgkinson and Sam Goddard (an existing employee) all commence Level 6 Embedded Electronic Systems Design and Development at Staffordshire University.

Elsewhere, two of our existing employees, Beth Slater and Rachel Cotton embark on a Level 3 Business Administration course, whilst Craig Ostrouchow also a current employee is advancing to a Level 4 Engineering Manufacturing qualification. All will be studying these qualifications at Newcastle College.

Commenting on this latest intake, Steve Tellwright, HR Director said; “We are committed to developing and delivering careers that build, shape and nurture the engineers of the future whilst providing exciting and varied career pathways for those with a passion for engineering.

Through our latest apprentice intake, we continue to show our commitment to building an environment where new talent is welcomed and where everyone has an opportunity to develop”.

We recently celebrated our new intake at a welcome lunch, giving our new (and familiar) faces a big welcome, enabling them to meet some of our senior leaders, and helping them to settle into their roles. This was followed by a practical development and skills session held by our Learning and Development team.

This latest intake means Capula now has well over 10% of its workforce studying for a professional apprenticeship qualification.
