Opportunities at the HyNet low carbon cluster

HyNet North West is one of the UK’s leading industrial decarbonisation projects that will unlock a low carbon future. HyNet will meet the major challenge of reducing carbon dioxide emissions, providing low carbon power for industry, transport and low carbon heating for our homes and businesses.

In doing so, the project will create thousands of new opportunities. Developing a low carbon cluster across the North West and North East Wales will create learning, training and upskilling opportunities, supporting levelling up and helping the region to thrive into the future.

A key part of HyNet will be developing the infrastructure for carbon capture and storage, with the North West one of the Government's clusters to receive 'Track 1' status.

Meet the specifier

We are planning ahead to ensure that potential suppliers across the region, and beyond, are in the best possible position to maximise the opportunities HyNet will bring.

This event, hosted by Eni, HyNet and supported by the Department for International Trade and the North Sea Transition Authority, will showcase the scale of the project and provide further details of the work packages needed to establish the low-carbon cluster, with a focus on carbon capture and storage infrastructure.

The supplier event will also provide a chance for organisations to take part in more detailed discussions on the required services and products in the form of workshops.
