Capula demonstrate nuclear strength through successful regranting of Fit for Nuclear (F4N) status

• Run by the Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC), Fit for Nuclear (F4N) is designed to help companies win contracts in the nuclear supply chain by measuring operations to industry standards
• Having held F4N status since 2019, Capula scored highly in the regranting process, demonstrating its continued commitment to delivering the performance standards demanded by the nuclear industry’s top tiers.
• With over 50 years experience working in the nuclear sector, Capula supports the full lifecycle of nuclear energy from fuel production through to new-build, construction, operation, waste management and decommissioning and is continuing to support the sector as it transitions to Net Zero.

Industrial control and automation digital solutions specialist Capula has been regranted Fit for Nuclear (F4N) status for the 3rd year, demonstrating its continued commitment to delivering the performance standards demanded by the nuclear industry’s top tiers.

Led by Capula’s Bid Manager Katie Henshall, this achievement follows two on-site verifications by F4N assessors John Olver, Andrew Hinton and Huw Jenkins, and a thorough evaluation of competence within the nuclear field.

Commenting on the achievement, Katie said: “I am proud to have led this process for the third year running. Capula is a trusted supplier to the nuclear sector, having supported many of our clients for over 50 years.

Being regranted F4N status underlines our continued commitment to delivering exceptional service to the sector both now and in the future”.

Capula’s Nuclear Business Manager, Lee Heathcote said: “We believe it’s important to continually evolve our service standards. By going through this process, and being assessed by the Nuclear AMRC, we trust that this demonstrates our strength of service through an independent lens.

I would like to add a personal thanks to Katie for exceptional leadership throughout this process. Her approach is demonstrable of the collective pride we all have in continuing to support such a critical industry”.

Part of the wider EDF Group, we are part of a bigger family working together to achieve Net Zero. With decades of experience of partnering and innovating to deliver system agnostic digital solutions for some of the UK’s most critically important nuclear energy infrastructure, Capula continues to support the evolving nuclear sector as it transitions to Net Zero.
