Introduction to the Contracts for Difference (CfD)

This one hour webinar will introduce attendees to how the Contracts for Difference (CfD) scheme works. It will be hosted by the Low Carbon Contracts Company (LCCC), who, as the counterparty to the CfD scheme, manage projects awarded contracts after the CfD auctions are completed by NGESO.

The purpose of this session is to give an introduction on how the scheme works and LCCC’s role as the scheme counterparty including managing of contractual milestones, levy collection and payments. It should interest anyone who is thinking of participating in the CfD scheme, or in future Government schemes that are similar to it. The session will be interactive, with attendees having the opportunity to pose questions to LCCC during it.
