CFB Risk Management will continue to support their local community throughout 2022 with monthly donations to chosen charities/organisations that are doing amazing work and either helping those in need or the environment in making the world a greener space.
CFB Risk Management will be holding a coffee morning on Friday 25th February at their HQ, Hartlepool, where sweet treats will be baked and sold with all proceeds donated to a local charity.
This month, the charity in question is Ground Works – North East (Hartlepool – Green Links) in which they help communities cope with change, and to make their lives and neighbourhoods better. They embrace transformation and positively change places and people’s lives. The money donated will assist in the elderly creating green
space/planting on allotments/gardening activities and ultimately give them an opportunity to learn new skills, improve their health and wellbeing, share experiences with new people within their local community and make friends.
Each monthly charitable event/donation is also a way for CFB Risk Management acknowledging the organisations impact on the lives of many individuals within the local community and throughout the North East, England.
Camilla Toner – Community Project Manager for Groundwork NE & Cumbria explained 'The funding from the coffee morning will be given to Green Links Hartlepool, Green Links is a group set up to help people live well with Dementia. It hosts gardening and craft days weekly to help support those who live with Dementia and their families, and carers. The morning will go towards hosting gardening days for the group to keep their minds and bodies active. Groundwork and Green Links are extremely thankful for the support from Cleveland Fire Brigade Risk Management and are looking forward to hopefully working alongside them more in the future'.
CFB Risk Management is at the heart of supporting local groups/organisations and will continue to do so throughout the North East, England and the UK.
