Optimal – a Physical Asset Management Engineering Consultancy based in Aberdeen UK with a subsidiary in South Africa has concluded a long-term strategic partnership agreement with Tshwane Institute for Continuing Education (TICE), the commercial arm of Tshwane University of Technology – a leading technical university in South Africa. The agreement builds on the existing relationship between the two parties which began in 2019.
The partnership aims to improve competence within the Physical Asset Management space and to kickstart this the parties will be launching a SAAMA accredited Maintenance Planner Training Programme targeted at both aspiring and experienced Maintenance Planners looking to gain a recognised certification. There are more training programmes planned along with collaboration on research projects.
