Bilfinger Salamis Danmark awarded €40 million inspection contract for TOTAL Danish assets

• The new five-year contract will cover all of the energy company’s’ exploration and production assets in the Danish North Sea.
• Bilfinger Salamis Danmark will provide a comprehensive range of services with focus on advanced non-destructive testing (ANDT) techniques.
• The deal follows a string of inspection contract wins for the firm, which includes Bilfinger Salamis UK’s contract with Altera Infrastructure Production AS.

Leading operations, maintenance and asset integrity contractor Bilfinger Salamis Danmark has secured a new €40 million contract with Total E&P Denmark (Exploration & Production) to provide inspection services for the energy company’s’ assets in the Danish North Sea.

The five-year agreement, which will commence in July 2021 and has two one-year extension options, will see the business provide conventional and advanced non-destructive testing (ANDT) services. Bilfinger Salamis Danmark is a filial of leading operations and maintenance contractor Bilfinger Salamis UK. The contract will be delivered from the company’s office in Esbjerg, Denmark.

The contract win continues a successful period of growth for Bilfinger Salamis’s inspection service line, which includes Bilfinger Salamis UK’s recent multi-million-pound agreement with Altera Infrastructure Production AS for its North Sea assets.

Bilfinger Salamis is an established provider of conventional, advanced and specialist Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) services to the oil and gas, energy, petrochemical, renewables, nuclear and utilities sectors covering onshore and offshore facilities across Europe. 

The business, which has supported the energy industry for almost 50 years, employs over 1,500 people from bases in Esbjerg, Aberdeen, Groningen and Great Yarmouth. It is part of international industrial services provider Bilfinger.
