Topic - Build Back Better: Green Jobs for the Future
Description - Join the Secretary of State for the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, Rt Hon Kwasi Kwarteng MP, for the first in a series of live panel discussions with companies from across the UK.

The focus this time will be on green jobs, and the expert panel will discuss how green jobs can help the UK to build back better. This is a unique chance to hear the experiences of some of the UK’s top green business leaders, with members of the panel sharing their insights in creating and working in green jobs.

Douglas Lamont, CEO, innocent
Douglas has been at innocent for 14 years, in a number of leadership, marketing and innovation roles. He became the CEO in 2013, leading them to become the largest chilled drinks brand in Europe.

Hayden Wood, CEO, Bulb
Hayden is CEO and co-founder of Bulb. Hayden and his friend and co-founder, Amit Gudka, founded Bulb to make renewable energy affordable. Bulb were named the UK’s fastest growing private company in 2018 and 2019.

Dr Ifeyinwa Kanu, Founder and CEO, IntelliDigest Ltd
Dr Kanu has a PhD in environmental engineering. She founded IntelliDigest to address the sustainability challenges posed by food waste. She lives and works in Edinburgh.

Andy Middleton, Founder and CEO, TYF Adventure
Andy is a speaker, innovator and catalyst for large scale sustainability change. He is Chief Exploration Officer at the TYF Group and lives on the coast in west Wales, surfing, gardening and hiking when he’s not at his desk.

Leigh Murray, Project Manager, Everwarm
Leigh is one of Everwarm’s Electrical division Project Managers, based in Scotland. Originally working as an electrician, she retrained in green energy to join Everwarm in 2017, bringing with her over 14 years’ experience.
