Encora Energy control system certified for active network management

Encora Energy’s CHiPCoB is an inexpensive, secure control interface designed to actively control commercial and industrial energy assets to maximise value and costs and has now been certified for UKPN Active Network Management.

UKPN Active Network Management (ANM) is a new dynamic approach to centralising control systems. The system can monitor up to 500MW worth of energy assets, advising when to limit network connections to produce faster and cheaper solutions.

ChipCob is now certified for communicating with this system and can be applied to all types and sizes of distributed energy assets that UKPN monitors. The ANM platform is currently being further developed to work with big data and AI, adding further capabilities to CHiPCoB.
