Update from Recovery4Life

Throughout the pandemic we at Recovery4Life have been chiefly concerned with how we can help our clients achieve business continuity. Across a range of sectors, the North East business community has been hit hard by the pandemic. We understand that finding new ways of enabling businesses to safely continue trading is essential to reinvigorating the economy. To this end we have been working on the following initiatives:

  • Teesside International Airport: We have been chosen to partner with Teesside airport to develop a COVID-19 testing hub for the residents, passengers and business community of Teesside. This is a real step forward for us. This means we will be able to make our COVID-19 testing services available for the membership, especially if they are based in the Teesside region.

Although the centre is established in Teesside, you don’t have to be from the area to come and get tested. We are open to both individuals and companies who want to get their staff tested. We are open 7 days a week and offer a range of COVID-19 tests including back to lab PCR, rapid antigen, and antibody testing. We have also opened up our Gateshead clinic to provide the same services for the Newcastle/ Gateshead region.

  • Passport2Work: We have developed a unique web-based risk management tool called Passport2Work. The system helps businesses to pro-actively manage risk in the workplace by taking a multi-systemic approach that will identify the full range of COVID-19 symptoms alongside pre-symptomatic and asymptomatic carriers. The system is an ongoing development that takes numerous physical, social and mental health factors into account to help employers standardise processes and make informed decisions regarding who should and shouldn’t be allowed on site. If you have a COVID-19 testing programme in place the system will also help identify who needs to be tested and when. Even if companies don’t have a testing programme in place they can now use our facilities at the airport. I should also mention that this iteration of the system is free.

To access a test account, please visit www.passport2work.com and input REC1111 as the Employer Reference when promoted.
