NRL welcomes Matt Telling to expand Teesside expertise

Posted on 24 February 2021

Leading Recruitment and Workforce Solutions provider NRL are delighted to have appointed Matt Telling as
Business Development Manager to cover the Teesside region – in response to the exciting major regeneration of
the area, focused primarily around the clean energy transition.

The move, follows NRL’s continued success supporting large-scale transformation projects across the North
East, including the Tees Renewable Energy Plant in Middlesbrough.

Having lived in the local area for over 15 years, Matt is best placed to draw on his decades of recruitment expertise
to support local organisations to ensure they have the resourcing solutions in place to secure lucrative contracts
as work packages begin to be awarded across the extensive redevelopment projects.

Discussing the changes happening in the region Matt said,

“Teesside has to be one of the most vibrant regions in the UK right now, as plans to drive net zero and alternate
energy sources such as carbon capture begin to take shape, as well as ambitious plans to achieve Freeport
status. It’s a privilege to be able to work with local engineering companies to ensure as many local people as
possible can benefit from this new green industrial revolution. Here at NRL we welcome the inward investment
the region will benefit from and look forward to playing our part to help the area prosper.”

This appointment falls in line with the NRL Group’s wider strategy to support net zero and low carbon energy
projects. Discussing Matt’s appointment, NRL Group CEO David Redmayne said,

“We’re delighted to officially put down roots in Teesside, having supported local projects for several years through
our UK-wide recruitment expertise. Matt brings with him the local knowledge and insight to build important
relationships within the local business community, ensuring we’re able to help regional engineering and
construction companies gain the maximum benefit from the exciting regeneration plans that will be realised over
the coming years.”
