Despite being rich in renewable energy sources, Africa is yet to take the most advantage of its potential. An estimated potential of Solar Capacity (10TW), abundant Hydro (350 GW), Wind (110 GW) and geothermal energy sources (15GW) the continent can be at the forefront and lead the world in scaling up of renewable energy generation globally.

Clean energy adoption is recognized as a major solution to the challenges of climate change and a critical step to net zero emissions.
