The EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Renewable Energy Northeast Universities (ReNU) will host its annual CDT week from 9-13 November. The objective of ReNU is to train the next generation of specialists in the area of renewable energy with a particular focus on sustainable distributed energy. ReNU's scope spans solar, wind, hydrogen, biofuels, batteries and heat and innovation.
The 7th NEEM meeting will include updates from ReNU doctoral candidates' projects as well as presentations from industry and Government on the challenges of getting to net zero emissions.
