Following on from its recent announcement regarding investment in a new facility, electro mechanical engineering specialist Houghton International is recruiting for a range of sales, marketing and business development roles to support further growth regionally, nationally and internationally.
Houghton International is currently recruiting for six roles, based from its new engineering facility in Heaton, including a technical account manager, sales administrators, marketing assistant and business development executive.
Michael Mitten, CEO of Houghton International, said: “The majority of the roles we are recruiting for are new roles created as a result of the vast amount of opportunity we see in the market. To continue to grow our business and make the most of our fantastic new facility, we need additional resource to maximise these opportunities in both established and emerging sectors. We are looking for exceptional people, with a range of skills, to join our team and help us do this.
“Whilst there is a lot of uncertainty at the moment, around both the economy and health, I have every confidence in the future of our industry and strongly believe now is the time to invest in that future. The world is changing rapidly and we must continue to innovate and adapt to ensure we remain at the forefront of what emerges. Whilst I’m in no doubt that there will be many challenges to overcome, industrial activity will endure and as the world continues to electrify and the demand for power rises, the products and services we offer will become even more significant.”
Specialising in the monitoring, maintenance, repair and life extension of electro mechanical assets around the world, Houghton International operates across a range of sectors including power generation, water, oil & gas, rail and industrial and manufacturing.
The company has grown incrementally over the past 36 years and plans to continue this growth by investing in its capabilities and its people to capitalise on new technologies and emerging markets as they develop.
