The £3.5m Technology, Innovation and Green Growth for Offshore Renewables (TIGGOR) programme has been established to support North of Tyne and wider North East-based businesses operating in, or seeking to enter, the offshore renewables market.
Meet the delivery partners
TIGGOR is primarily funded by the North of Tyne Combined Authority, led by the Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) Catapult, and provides your business with access to a leading partnership of organisations, all active in offshore renewables.
One programme, two channels of support
Businesses applying to the TIGGOR programme can access either one or both channels of support:
Providing North of Tyne businesses with up to £3m funding, technology assessment and advice in areas such as robotics and autonomous systems, digital twins and next generation technologies for improved operations and maintenance
Delivered by: ORE Catapult, Equinor, EDF Renewables
Providing North East businesses with specialist innovation advice, market intelligence and business planning for organisations operating in, or looking to enter, the offshore renewables market. Includes access to existing business support programmes: Wind Expert Support Toolkit, Fit 4 Offshore Renewables and Launch Academy
Delivered by: Offshore Wind Growth Partnership (OWGP), North East LEP Growth Hub
