The last few months have been hard for the majority of the population from a financial, physical and emotional viewpoint. Covid 19 has touched everyone in some way.
Here at Manpower we have recently hosted a Webinar on Mental Health* which was very well attended by working partners, clients, contractors, prospective clients and employees. It has evoked discussion and brought some comfort through shared experiences.
Now we MUST look to the future. With confidence that the redundancies and lockdown will hopefully be a thing of the past in the coming weeks and months, companies are looking to bounce back and expand back to and beyond the point they were at in their evolution at the beginning of March 2020.
Client intelligence suggests that there are slowly but surely shoots of hope and recovery across the construction and engineering sectors. Work life and engagement is different but the market still requires the skills to support this recovery. We must now look at transferring skills from different sectors in our everyday recruitment process.
