ENGIE Fabricom is delighted to announce we have been awarded a record number of contract wins for the business within the offshore wind energy market.
We have secured over £20 million pounds worth of work in offshore wind over the course of the past 12 months. This has seen us undertake projects on behalf of tier one companies working directly on the UK’s largest offshore wind farms.
Our team of highly skilled engineers are experts in delivering an extensive range of engineering services from anode installation, cathodic protection and grout repairs right through to safety modifications, turbine inspection and substation commissioning.
Following on from our £110K investment into our manufacturing and construction facilities at our Immingham site, we have also invested into our equipment to add an additional four Remote Operating Vehicles (ROV’s) to bolster our already impressive range of specialist equipment.
Most recently, we have also successfully completed two external audits carried out by major industry players Lloyds Register and Achilles. These reviews highlighted the high standards within our business and confirmed it is operating in full accordance with strict standards including BS ISO 45001 and UVDB B2 assessment processes.
Speaking about the contract wins, Richard Webster, CEO at ENGIE Fabricom said: “Over the last few years the offshore wind market is booming and, already having an extensive portfolio of projects in this sector, we have successfully used our experience and expertise to position the business as the leader and go to business for our specialist services in this sector.
“As such, we also have a very strong project pipeline in this field for the next 12 months and we look forward to continuing delivering projects of this nature to very high standards that ENGIE Fabricom is well known for.”
The wins have helped us to further consolidate our position as a market leader in the offshore wind sector and accelerates the global strategy of the ENGIE Group to be the world leader in zero carbon solutions.
