Animmersion, based in Middlesbrough create immersive digital experiences including virtual reality, holograms and animations, and their virtual wind turbine was one of the most popular attractions at last years Great Exhibition of the North. Dominic will describe some of their recent projects for clients in the renewables sector, and how they have helped them bring their products and services to life.
James Ritchie, Tekmar Energy and Energi Coast
Tekmar Energy are a leading manufacturer of offshore cable and pipe protection systems, protecting over 20GW of electrical infrastructure worldwide. James will tell us about some of the challenges they face in designing systems able to operate in such harsh conditions, and the technical innovations they've developed along the way. He will also touch on Energi Coast, which represents the regions offshore renewables sector, and of which James is the Chair
