London International Shipping Week is UK’s premier maritime event. Highlighting the UK’s position as a global maritime player, the week will showcase the strength and breadth of the UK’s offering.
 
The UK’s Department for International Trade (DIT) and the Department for Transport (DfT), together with industry partners Maritime UK, will host the Global Trade Hub at Landing Forty Two, a stunning venue at the heart of the City of London.
 
The ‘Hub’ will offer a programme of activity to support your company to develop your business internationally.

The Events:

Global Maritime Technology Xchange (G-MTX) – Tuesday 10 September, 10:00 – 14:30

International decision makers will offer updates on their current projects and discuss the technology challenges they face in areas such as vessel efficiency, cost reduction and meeting environmental standards.
 
This is your opportunity to present your offer to international fleet owners and operators from across the globe and meet face-face with buyers interested in your products and  services.

UK-China Maritime Services Exchange – Wednesday 11 September, 10:00 – 14:00

The UK-China Maritime Services Exchange event will bring together leading representatives from the Chinese shipping sector and UK experts from the maritime services sector to discuss two of the most topical issues affecting the maritime industries today.

The event will also offer an opportunity for UK and Chinese companies to discuss potential collaboration in a scheduled face-to-face meeting at a dedicated venue (1-2-1 Meetings), with translating services available on request, and over a networking lunch.
