Following the launch by Achilles of Oil & Gas Europe in August, NOF members that are registered in Achilles FPAL will now also be automatically visible to Norwegian and Danish operators and main contractors that use the Achilles JQS system in Scandinavia for procurement. Malcolm Wilson – Achilles’ Head of Sector for Natural Resources said, ‘By using new technology, we have combined Achilles FPAL and Achilles JQS into one network of around 6000 suppliers and over 140 buyers so that we remove the cost and duplication of effort for suppliers of having to register in both services. My advice to suppliers is to use this opportunity to increase exports to Norway and Denmark and to check that their data is accurate, comprehensive and really describes your company’s unique capability. In addition, we will soon be announcing new and attractive prices for this enhanced service. We are also working closely with the Oil & Gas Authority to encourage buyers to publish contract opportunities for suppliers. We are signatories to Vision 2035 and we believe these exciting developments will make a strong contribution towards anchoring the UK oil and gas supply chain and doubling exports by 2035. If members want further information, then please visit the Achilles team on stand 1T60 at Offshore Europe.’
