Farrans Construction together with Advance Northumberland are hosting a supplier engagement ‘Meet the Buyer’ event in Blyth Workspace to engage and inform local suppliers and sub-contractors on upcoming construction opportunities, linked to the £30m investment being made into the former Blyth power station site.
The event will take place at Blyth Workspace, Commissioners Quay, Quay Road, Blyth, Northumberland, NE24 3AG on Thursday 11th April 2019 between 4pm to 7pm. This is an informal session for businesses to drop in and out throughout the evening.
Prospective companies are invited to meet with key people from Farrans and Advance Northumberland, to find out more about upcoming opportunities and how to register for Farrans approved supply chain contractors list.
Ken Dunbar Managing Director of Advance Northumberland said: “There is an extensive list of work categories that are required to deliver the project, from cleaners, welders, catering, banksmen, signage makers and many more. These are just a small selection of the work categories Farrans are looking for.
This is an excellent opportunity for local businesses to find out more about how they can get involved and about the work that will arise from the development. I would encourage all businesses from across the County to come along and express your interest in any area”.
