About this event

Energi Coast is a leading offshore wind cluster that has proudly been at the forefront of innovation, since the inception of the sector. Following the launch of the Innovation Group in September 2020 a number of informative and well-attended events have taken place.

As part of North East Devolution, the North East Mayoral Combined Authority (NEMCA) will come into effect in May 2024. The newly established NEMCA aims to create the best possible conditions for skills developments, growth in jobs, investment in North East England.

The aim of this half-day event is to showcase the emerging NEMCA Investment Zone, Knowledge Anchor opportunities and highlight the ongoing work of regional universities relating to the development of offshore wind innovations.
